Congratulations to MSU for the First-round Pass for the Smart Cities-Clean Energy Project

Faculty of Architecture, Urban Design and Creative Arts, Mahasarakham University has received initial support from Thailand Energy Conservation Fund, Thailand Ministry of Energy for the Smart Cities-Clean Energy Project.

It was announced on February 22, 2017 that the “MSU Smart Campus” Project proposed by Faculty of Architecture, Urban Design and Creative Arts, MSU, and led by Dean Pondej Chaowarat, has been awarded a first-round pass by Thailand Energy Conservation Fund under the Smart Cities-Clean Energy Project.  Development funding of 500,000 Baht has also been awarded to MSU including other 15 universities, government and private sectors that have passed the 1st round in order to help progress their master plans for the 2nd round of this grant competition.

The Smart Cities-Clean Energy Project aims to encourage government and private sectors to design and create a model for cleaner and greener cities of Thailand by introducing a smarter way of living relying on a smart, sustainable and resilient energy.
