NBT interviews MSU Researcher and A Community Leader about Their Flagship Local Development Project
 
On 26 May 2017, Mr. Tawat Chinrasri, Lecturer of Faculty of Technology, Mahasarakham University together with Police Senior Sergeant Major Boonkerd khomsiri, Chairman of the turkey farmer group of Kut Sai Cho, Kantharawichai District, Maha Sarakham were live interviewed by National Broadcast Service of Thailand (NBT), Khon Kaen or Channel 11. The interview was about a flagship program of Mahasarakham University called “One Program, One Community” which is designed to support MSU faculties to carry out projects together with its communities aimed at improving the living conditions of people in the communities as well as strengthening local economies.
 
One of the successful Faculty of Technology’s One Program, One Community projects, led by Associate Professor Dr. Anut Chantiratikul, is to help the community develop low cost egg incubator machine for hatching turkey eggs during summer.  
 
“This project is a very beneficial one for the turkey farmer group of Kut Sai Cho, Kantharawichai District, Maha Sarakham. It encourages the development of turkey farming, helps farmers strengthen their innovation skills, helps farmers reduce costs, and creates a fertile future for smallholder farmers,” said Mr. Tawat Chinrasri.
